I have been in Sales for last 12+ years and in above Vlog i want to share with you 4 Pieces of advice which i wish someone would have shared with me when i started my journey in Sales.
You are always Selling:
It’s so true, you are always selling whether you are a professional sales person or someone with a normal job you always are trying to convince, persuade, negotiate with people to get your work done.
It’s never about selling its always about Helping others.
Gone are the days when customer new very little or nothing that you have to sell, we are meeting highly informed highly researched, smart buyers who don’t want to be sold but just want someone to HELP them make a buying Decision.
Sales can be also defined as the process of Qualified people going in the market trying to gather Business and you may not be the best Salesperson in the world with all world class Skills but if you are just willing to persevere and make genuine attempt to help your customer , even when they say no to you at first, even when they ignore u, even when things are going downhill eventually your ability to Persevere, Persevere & Persevere will payoff and market will reward you with Business
Make Rejection, Failures, disappointments your frequent Companions
Its given in Sales Failures, Disappointments, Rejection will always be your frequent companions, compared to large deals u close, or ur major sales accomplishments and you need to figure out a way to be in peace with Failures and disappointments..
Sales is a rewarding and fulfilling Career & if u give ur heart and soul to it I am sure u will discover Infinite Possibilities in your Journey.
